Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and dedication to increasing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) services during an engagement using the company's senior administrators at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric final exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of your registered pupils inside the education sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
